Jayd Movement Coaching
I’m Jayd! Your friendly neighborhood neurospicy, non-binary, softy, wiggly strength coach.
Online & In-Person, I specialize in supporting people who are feeling sticky and navigating barriers. I’ll help you find a way in!
I coach brand new beginners, competitive powerlifters, and everyone in between. Getting started and coming back to the gym can be intimidating, confusing, physically painful, and emotionally activating.
My clients come to me for a fresh approach to strength & mobility training with none of the shame and all of the support you need to make choices for your unique body. I want to help you get stronger, navigate pain, and know when to push hard and when to rest.
I am dedicated to helping you cultivate more joy & power in your life. I believe strength training is for everyone, and all bodies are good bodies! I aim to make movement fun, effective, and accessible.
My coaching is geared toward people who hold one or more of these experiences: Queer, neurodivergent, working class, hypermobile, chronic pain, people who’ve had negative experiences with the fitness industrial complex, are looking to get stronger instead of smaller, want to use lifting as gender affirming care, and invest in strength training for mental and physical health.
My coaching is influenced by my lived experience as a queer working class person, my work as an elementary school teacher and community organizer, evolving social justice community practices, and client feedback.
Outside of lifting I enjoy eating buttery popcorn at home, dancing in my bedroom with my Boston Terrier Tater Tot, hiking, and just existing.
